Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights
Do you have an idea but are afraid to share it because you want to maintain your competitive advantage? Or would you like to refresh your knowledge of the different Intellectual Property Rights (IP rights)? Then, register and learn more about IP rights during this training.
During this workshop, we’ll introduce you to the different IP rights and examine practical examples of IP in collaborations and ownership and we will further introduce concepts like freedom to operate. We’ll also highlight the value of technical details disclosed in patent publications.
This presentation will be given by Dynion Bakker, IP-adviseor at the Netherlands Patent Office and Barend van der Wal, IP-attorney at Dogio Intellectual Property, in collaboration with the Centre for Entrepreneurship of Utrecht University and UtrechtInc.
Programme
- In the 1st half of the workshop, we will give you an overview and explanation of the different IP rights.
- In the 2nd half of the workshop, we will work on a case study to give you insight into how different IP rights work in practice.
- Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
