• 14:00: Reception/walk-in with coffee, tea and something savory and sweet. Opening of the Alice & Eve exhibition powered by the University of Twente in the foyer.
• 14:30: Start substantive program by host en moderator Dorothy Seguy.
• 14:35: Welcome by member of the European Parliament together with Mahasin Tanyaui, Director of NextGen Women.
• 14:45: Keynote by Farshida Zafar, Director Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship.
• 15:05: Q&A Farshida Zafar, Director Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship.
• 15:15: Keynote by Vanessa Abel, AI & Digital Strategy Project lead at Erasmus University about how women in can reinforce European competitveness.

• 15:30: First round of panel-talk with MEP Anna Strolenberg. Also ECDA Immersive Tech Programme Manager – Frederike Manders, Dutch Ambassador Women in Immersive Tech – Regina van Tongeren and Marguerite Soeteman-Reijnen, Advisory Board Member of Erasmus Centre of Data Analytics and chair advisory board @SER Topvrouwen. Rosanna Nazir, Inclusive Economy Leader will also join this interesting panel-talk about

• 15:45: Second round of panel discussion with MEP Anna Strolenberg, ECDA Immersive Tech Programme Manager – Frederike Manders, Dutch Ambassador Women in Immersive Tech – Regina van Tongeren and Rosanna Nazir, Inclusive Economy Leader.

• 16:45: Conclusion of the panel talks with a summary of the most important points, presented by the moderator & Q&A.
• 17:00: End of the programme with a speech from European Parliament Member, Kim van Sparrentak. After this we have drinks and bites during the reception and walk don’t forget to walk through the Alice and Eve exhibition till 18:00h.

What EU legislation on gender equality has been adopted during the 9th Parliamentary Term and what new legislation is currently in the pipeline: timeline, content. What will be the challenges and effects on the new EU Gender Equality Strategy (2025-2030) for women in tech in digital, how do we protect women online and offline: Digital Services Act against online hate speech and the resolution of the European Parliament about violence towards women, adopted in the light of the war in Ukraine.

What challenges the bicultural women in The Netherlands are currently facing, how can we as legislators empower them. How do we gather their concerns and what is a realistic timeframe within which we can address them? How do we make sure we remain in constant dialogue and adjust our rules and initiatives in this process?
