Startup Mission to Websummit Qatar
Is your start-up ready for international growth? Do you want to do business, network with companies or attract investors? Then join the Dutch tech delegation to the Web Summit in Doha, the tech event in the Middle East, from 22 to 26 February 2025! Registration is possible until December 13, 2024.
Web Summit Qatar
Web Summit is one of the largest tech fairs in the world. It focuses on start-ups, SMEs and large companies in the tech sector. This leading trade show is the place to show your innovative products to the world. The Web Summits attract tens of thousands of visitors and influential global players from the sector.
Since 2023, there has also been a Web Summit in Qatar that focuses on start-ups, innovation and technology. The next edition will take place from 23 to 26 February 2025. Qatar, and especially Doha, is rapidly developing as an innovative hub in the region. Last year, Web Summit Qatar attracted more than 1,000 start-ups and 15,000 visitors from 81 countries. By participating, you can pitch your ideas to investors and connect with large companies from the Gulf region.
NL Pavilion
The Dutch embassy is at Web Summit Qatar with the NL Pavilion. This is the place to show off your product or service and meet potential customers and investors.
Why participate?
The goal of the NL Pavilion is to support promising Dutch start-ups and innovative companies in their international growth. Participation offers you a platform on which you can present yourself to an international audience. You will also have the opportunity to get in touch with potential customers, investors, partnership partners and other start-ups. Together we want to put the Dutch start-up ecosystem and innovative solutions on the map.
Participating in Web Summit Qatar offers you a great opportunity to:

Participation and costs
The cost is €500 (excluding VAT) per company. For this you will receive:
- access to Web Summit Qatar for two people;
- use of the NL Pavilion as a meeting place;
- access to all side events and network activities;
- possibility to sign, for example, contracts or MoU’s (Memorandum of Understanding) in the presence of the delegation management;
- support of the Dutch embassy in Doha.
Travel and accommodation costs are at your own expense. Meals and drinks are also at your own expense, unless otherwise stated in the program.

*There is a limited number of places in the delegation. RVO believes it is important that the companies that participate fall within the design and substantive focus of the mission. Registration therefore does not automatically mean participation in the mission.
Organization
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is organizing this mission together with the Dutch Embassy in Doha, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Corporate social responsibility
The Dutch government considers corporate social responsibility (including human rights) important and endorses the OECD guidelines. In this, the CSR standards for internationally active entrepreneurs are agreed. One of the conditions for participating in this mission is that you adhere to these OECD guidelines.
