Delft-based, CarbonX has secured a €2.5m grant and a €5m equity package from the prestigious European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) Accelerator grant.

CarbonX is set to disrupt the battery industry with new anode material: A locally produced alternative to Chinese graphite while delivering better battery performance and reducing CO2 emissions.

Competing against 1,200+ proposals, CarbonX has emerged as a leading startup in the most competitive funding round to date.

This investment will fuel CarbonX’s cutting-edge technology, commercial growth and commitment to sustainable innovation.
