The IoT Academy is a foundation whose mission is to contribute to innovation in the Netherlands by stimulating the Internet of Things.

The IoT Academy, located right next to the RDM Makerspace, works closely with its partners and the developer community and was founded in 2016 by KPN and the RDM Makerspace.

Advice and workshops

Through its extensive knowledge and experience with the entire IoT ecosystem, the academy advises its partners and gives workshops in sensor technology, connectivity, Big Data, security applications, system integration and IoT platforms. The IoT Academy offers these workshops and educational modules to businesses, governments and educational institutions. Supporting IoT Developers by offering workshops and the mobilization of the IoT Lab. Promoting and expanding the IoT partner landscape (Eco-system) by initiating collaborations.
